Award-Winning Side-Scroller LITTLE ORPHEUS Is Releasing In March

After initially releasing their game on the Apple Arcade, developers The Chinese Room received award after award. Now, with the help of publisher Secret Mode, this multi-award-winning game, Little Orpheus, is coming to consoles and PC on March 1st! Plus, the new platforms will be getting the game in its definitive edition, meaning it has been rebuilt and remastered for the big screen with hi-res textures, new moves, new animations, and enhanced graphics and effects.

The year is 1962 and NASA is trying to put a man on the moon. In a remote corner of Siberia, a Soviet cosmonaut is heading in the other direction. Comrade Ivan Ivanovich is dropped into an extinct volcano in his exploration capsule to explore the center of the Earth. He promptly vanishes. Three years later he emerges claiming to have saved the world. Join Comrade Ivanovich as he explores lost civilizations, undersea kingdoms, prehistoric jungles, and lands beyond imagination.

Little Orpheus will be on PC via Steam and Epic Games, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on March 1st. Seeing a game go from a little phone game to hitting all of the major platforms at once is definitely something to check out. As someone who doesn’t like to play games on their phone, but really enjoys a good side-scroller, I’m looking forward to this game. What do you think of this dramatic game porting?
