Based on a comic series back in the late 90’s, Battle Chasers: Nightwar brings back turn-based tactics set in a unique fantasy world that will let players experience a classic JPRG style of gameplay.
Players can explore a medieval setting filled with hidden dungeons, powerful bosses, and all the while meeting companions and enemies along the way. The story will be non-linear, giving the players more freedom to explore the world as they please and unearthing the lore of the game through items, dialogue, landmarks, and secret elements.
The gameplay will be complemented with traditional 2D animation created by Powerhouse Animation Studios that will unravel key story moments in the game. Battle Chasers: Nightwar will be priced at $29.99 and will be released on Steam and other platforms on October 23rd. The Switch version of the game is slated to be released on a later date.
