We are a little over a week out from the release of Burnout Paradise Remastered for the Nintendo Switch. In preparation for the June 19 launch, EA has released a new gameplay trailer featuring 8 “truths” about the upcoming release.
Truth #1: Race in a massive open world
Truth #2: Feel the speed at 60 FPS
Truth #3: Blaze a trail of destruction
Truth #4: Tear it up in multiplayer
Truth #5: Collect 150+ amazing rides
Truth #6: Enjoy 120 unique events
Truth #7: Pumping soundtrack 80+ tracks
Truth #8: The ultimate addition 8 DLC packs included
Those are some pretty good truths, Burnout Paradise is a massive open-world racing game with lots to do and see. With the Remastered edition all of the previously released DLC content is included in the package giving players access to even more cars and events. I am happy to see the Switch version will be running at 60 FPS as that makes the game far more enjoyable compared to its last-gen original release. I am particularly excited to be able to play this game in handheld mode and maybe finally beat it! I just hope the full game will be available on a Switch cartridge with no additional downloads required.
