At Square Enix’s E3 2018 press conference, the studio unveiled the new gameplay trailer for the upcoming game, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The latest adventure showcases the game’s mechanics and the darker vibe of Lara Croft’s third and final origin story. 

In this latest iteration, the game will feature a more hardened and brutal Lara Croft as compared to the previous game, Rise of the Tomb Raider. After watching the trailer, it is apparent that Lara will play a more villainous role here as opposed to the traditional heroine we see in previous installments. 

Moreover, the game will focus more on stealth gameplay, which will reward players who strategize their every move rather than openly confronting enemy characters. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is scheduled for release on September 24, 2018, for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
