It was only a couple months ago that Storm in a Teacup revealed their latest game, Close to the Sun, with an eerie trailer and pre-order set up. While they are still allowing players to pre-order their game, giving them an exclusive, limited edition digital art book at release, they have finally given us an actual launch date.
Set to release on May 2nd exclusively on the Epic Games store, Close to the Sun will be an adventure that you are going to want to experience. Set in the alternative 19th century where famed inventor and futurist Nikola Tesla was able to fulfill his potential and change the world forever. Players will be aboard the Helios, a colossal vessel for scientific research, steeped in horror and mystery.
While some may be upset with Close to the Sun being an exclusive to the Epic Games store, there is nothing to worry about! They already announced that they plan to bring their game to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One by the end of 2019. That’s not even a full year after the initial release date.
