In 2014, the hit video game Goat Simulator let players take on the life of a hilarious goat that would get itself into all kinds of crazy hijinks. Fast-forward to now as the creator behind that spectacular masterpiece, Armin Ibrisagic, hopes to capture lightning in a bottle once more. This time, gamers will suit-up as the elderly in Just Die Already. This new sandbox takes place in a world where the population growth has slowed to zero, thus letting the old folks take over once and for all.
You’ll play as an elderly person whose been kicked out of their retirement home with the hopes of qualifying for free healthcare. How do you achieve this? By doing dangerous stunts of course! It’s a bombastic experience that definitely seems to up the ante even further than Goat Sim. Don’t go out and commit these dangerous acts alone, bring a couple of your bingo buddies with ya for up to 4-player fun! To me at least, this looks like a great mixture of Goat Sim and Happy Wheels. It’s bloody, gory, and has lots of potential for experimentation. It’ll definitely be one of those games where you can kick back, relax, and turn off your brain for a while as you abuse your character.
Just Die Already’s release date is TBA but will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
