Discord is hoping they can make the Nintendo Switch better in terms of chat. The proposal likely sounds awesome to a bunch of Switch users who are still scratching their heads at the fact they need a special app to call their friends on the phone and talk to them while playing. The chat service responded to a Twitter user who posed the question and encouraged fans to vote for the option on their website:

It's unlikely that Nintendo will allow for this considering the chat option comes bundled as part of their online service, but it would be awesome if they swallowed their pride a bit and let someone who knows what they're doing jump in and make the Switch better for everyone.
