EA Confirms Battle Royale Mode For BATTLEFIELD V
EA revealed more details on the upcoming title Battlefield V during the EA Play press conference. The developer released an official multiplayer trailer, and as expected, EA didn’t take too long to announce the inclusion of the ever-popular battle royale mode in Battlefield V.
Battle Royale in Battlefield V will be called “Royale.” EA did not reveal any more details on this during the press conference. However, we can expect that more information will be coming soon during E3, where it is likely that a hundred more battle royale games will also be announced.
The success of games such as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite spearheaded the popularity of the battle royale mode. Ever since then, new developers started making games featuring their own version of battle royale and household names such as Call of Duty and now Battlefield, started to follow the growing trend.
Besides the battle royale mode, EA also confirmed the presence of team play, vehicles and more features that fans have never experienced before in any other Battlefield game. More details are expected to be revealed as soon. Battlefield V will launch on October 11 this year for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
