It’s time to hack and slash your enemies in just a few days when Rune II Decapitation Edition releases on Steam! I remember playing the original Rune game when I was a kid, and those dismemberments really blew me away. Even to this day, there aren’t many games that have done what that game was able to do. I’m certainly excited to see how this title takes what was done in the first and improves upon it.
I do find it really interesting that there are two Viking games releasing the same week. I’d love to see how folks draw comparisons between this title and Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla. They’re both different games in their own right but it’s a given that people will compare them to one another. We’ve spoken about Rune II previously and had a lot of positive things to say. I cannot wait to get my hands on it when it releases for PC via Steam on November 13th!
