The 20th game in indie Publisher Hooded Horse’s library of games has been announced! Blacksmith Master is a forge management game from the creators of Tavern Master, Untitled Studio. Get your pickaxe and throw on your blacksmith’s apron as you control every part of the production chain from the mines to selling your finished products, making a profit, and expanding your workshop to hire more artisans to continue your growth.
The player takes on the role of a humble blacksmith with a small workshop in a medieval city, and starting from the bottom must create an efficient workspace to create a variety of items and then sell them. Complexity increases the time to make, but also widens the profit margins. As they grow their business, players will be able to hire new smiths to work in tandem and focus on becoming specialists or staying more general. However, it is also important to have every stage of production running well, and hiring miners will be essential to keeping the iron flowing. Be careful not to overspend, but be aware that tired and stressed workers are less efficient.
