Monumental, a game development studio known for titles such as Mythgard, Storm Wars, and Little Alchemist, have announced their acquisition of the game Crowfall. The newly acquired “Throne War Simulator” is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that mixes elements of large-scale strategic simulation.
Having only launched in July of 2021, the new MMORPG was developed under the independent studio ArtCraft Entertainment. It initially received funding through a Kickstarter campaign that raised almost two million dollars from roughly 17,000 backers.
Crowfall boasts a number of player classes such as Knight, Confessor, Templar, Ranger, Assassin, Frostweaver, Champion, Myrmidon, Cleric, Duelist, and Druid. There are 12 different race options available in combination with these classes.
