Get Insight Into The Creative Process Behind MARTHA IS DEAD

The developers from the studio simply known as LKA have changed pace in their games, going from their previous title The Town of Light to a more interactive and intense style featured in Martha Is Dead. To discuss what it has been like for the team to make this switch and work on a title that they are aiming to be considered a masterpiece, they answered some questions and shared the dialogue in a feature video on Wired Productions channel.

As for a quick thought on the project, the founder of LKA and Creative Director for Martha Is Dead, Luca Dalcò, stated, “From the first concepts, we knew we wanted to push boundaries and deliver an immersion through detail and realism. It’s not easy, there are often comprises to make in scenes, but I’m so proud of what my team has been able to deliver. The term, powered by Unreal Engine, is more than just a marketing saying – the innovation the team at Unreal helps developers unlock is unimaginable, as seen through the recent Matrix tech demo. They also give us the chance to push further on game quality giving us economical support on development. We’ve utilized features but also have managed to place LKA at the cutting edge of new tools, being early adopters of the MetaHuman technology, which we’re excited to continue to reveal more on.”

Martha Is Dead has already given many players an interesting, but overall positive, first impression when they released their short, limited time, demo. Soon, it will be providing a full experience to players as the game is still set to release on February 24th on PC via Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox.
