Telltale recently revealed the opening 15 minutes of their ever-popular game, The Walking Dead. This season will serve as the final one for the series and will bring closure to the story of Clementine as she struggles to survive the zombie-infected world with the orphan toddler AJ.
"After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home," says Telltale's description of the game. "But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left."
Telltale says that players should expect a "gripping and emotional final season," identify friends from enemies and determine how Clementine's story will end.
Telltale's The Walking Dead: The Final Season will release its first episode on August 14, 2018, on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The developer previously mentioned a separate release on the Switch "later this year."
