Horror Game STILL WAKES THE DEEP Announced At The Xbox Games Showcase

Announced at the Xbox Games Showcase, award-winning developers The Chinese Room and publisher Secret Mode revealed Still Wakes the Deep. The title is a narrative first-person horror game built entirely in the Unreal Engine 5. Gaining hype quickly Still Wakes the Deep is the featured cover story for the next issue of EDGE magazine.

The Chinese Room is no stranger to narrative horror games, with games like Dear Esther and Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs. Still Wakes the Deep is their return to the genre. You are an off-shore oil rig worker, surviving a vicious storm, perilous surroundings, and the dark, freezing North Sea waters. With communications disabled, all exits are gone, all that’s left for you is to face the unimaginable horror that may have come aboard.

Still Wakes the Deep will launch sometime in 2024 for PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. The title will also launch on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
