To prepare their game for its official early access stage, Round Toast Studios is inviting players to try out and give some initial feedback on their upcoming action RPG. After working on their project over the past few years, their title Mortal Rite is just about ready for Steam’s Early Access, but they need to clear a few initial speed bumps.
This will be your first step to take on the role of an initiate to an ancient guild of immortal warriors. All you seek is to outlast the Blood Spirit’s trials and gain immortality and acceptance into the guild. To do this, you must thrive in fast melee combat with your character’s own unique lore, fighting style, and abilities.
Mortal Rite is a title that has drawn up a lot of attention on its various social media, such as YouTube and TikTok, but will it fair well once players actually get their hands on it? The first step to knowing that answer will happen Tuesday, January 18th, when the public playtest goes live. After the few videos I’ve already seen on their channels, it definitely is a game I’m interested in checking out - especially for free!
