Indie Rhythm Game ROBOBEAT Drops New Gameplay Trailer

ROBOBEAT is an epic new upcoming indie rhythm FPS from solo developer Simon Fredholm and publisher Kwalee. The game was first announced two months back at the London Games Festival with its own launch trailer. The big news that just dropped with a new gameplay trailer is that ROBOBEAT will give players the ability to ADD CUSTOM MUSIC!

The new feature revealed in the most recent trailer allows players to trim, loop, and edit tracks directly within the game itself. Players will also be able to effortlessly adjust the beat markers to synchronize with their own rhythm within the game. Players can change custom songs effortlessly in-game anytime anywhere without interruption. In addition, the feature will support .wav, .mp3, and .ogg files.

In case players haven’t heard about ROBOBEAT yet, it’s a sci-fi roguelite rhythm FPS where the player has been trapped in the ever-changing mansion of the eccentric robot-showman Frazzer. Fast forward through procedurally generated levels, equip an arsenal of finely-tuned weapons, and accompany your arsenal with a symphony of modifications. To escape this twisted techno playground, players will have to master the art of shooting, wall-running, sliding, and bunny hopping, all in sync to the beat of the music!

ROBOBEAT will release on PC via Steam sometime in 2023.
