During last week’s Nintendo Direct presentation, Aspyr and Lucasfilm Games announced that the critically acclaimed and award-winning RPG Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is coming to Nintendo Switch on November 11.
The game takes place in an era before the rise of the evil galactic Empire, long before the Skywalker Saga. You play as a Jedi Knight who must fight a Sith Lord named Darth Malak in order to restore peace and save the galaxy from his control.
The classic Star Wars game is known for its unique characters, creatures, vehicles, and planets that can be explored. The game’s characters are customizable and in-game decisions will impact the overall story and experience for each player. There are over 40 different force abilities that can be used during the game, ensuring plenty of variety in gameplay.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was originally released on July 15th, 2003, and has since made its way onto various platforms. This recent announcement of the game’s port to Nintendo Switch is exciting news for longtime fans as well as newcomers to the franchise. The game is now available for pre-order on the Nintendo Switch eShop for $14.99.
