The upcoming mystery game where you end up playing as a bug has finally announced a release date for all platforms! Developers Ovid Works and publisher All In! Games shared the Metamorphosis release date trailer above which reveals that our little adventure will begin on August 12th for the PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Although, those with access to the PC version can still try out the free demo they announced when they posted the gameplay trailer to get a quick sample.
While the demo is pretty short, I enjoyed my own first impression with the game and am looking forward to seeing what the full adventure will hold. From the unique mechanics to the strange atmosphere the game gives off, I can already tell that this game will be unlike many others available today. Interesting and new experiences are easily one of the main things that grab my interest in upcoming games which is why Metamorphosis caught my attention so quickly.
