The increasingly popular Netflix instant-classic series Stranger Things has been revealed as the next themed update and icon killer to be added to the Dead by Daylight roster! As strange and amazing as it sounds to be able to play as the Demogorgon, the pack is going to also come with two survivors. It must have been hard to choose from the whole pack of great characters that star in the show, but ultimately we are getting Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington. All of these characters come wrapped in a new map which is the incredibly fitting Underground Complex at Hawkins National Laboratory.
While this may just be the team feeding into the popularity of the show, I am excited to see all of these characters in action! It will be odd to see the Demogorgon hooking players instead of annihilating them, but if that means we get to see Nancy Wheeler pulling some crazy flashlight saves and Steve Harrington running around the dark maps in his Scoops Ahoy uniform, then this is a great choice. Now the question is, are we getting six new survivor perks or are they both coming with the same three new survivor perks to unlock? Also, how brutal are they going to be when it comes to the Demogorgon’s mori kill animation?
