Madmind Studio Goes Too Far Again As SUCCUBUS VR Gets Banned By Steam
Recently, Madmind Studio announced that they are bringing Agony Unrated and Succubus to virtual reality, which they have already launched Agony VR on Steam earlier this week. However, it seems they ran into an issue with the more action-focused title as Valve banned it for its drastic content. Here’s the official quote from Steam:
“Some features available in the VR version are too disturbing and immersive to be released on Steam.”
Due to this, Madmind Studio has to postpone its plans to release Succubus: Hellish Orgy VR, and now, devs are working on bringing their horror to different platforms. More details should be known soon. Worst of all, they have stated in response,
"Steam has decided to ban the game without giving us the ability to make changes/patches/censorship"
Even with how upsetting this must be for the developers and anticipating players, they are confirming that this isn’t the end of their cooperation with Steam. Standard versions of Agony and Succubus are still available on the platform, along with their other and future titles such as Void Slayer, Agony: Lords of Hell, Paranoid, and more. As for the comparative nature of the two games, check out the Agony VR trailer and the Succubus VR trailer to see the comparative differences between these two titles.
What do you think about this situation? Do you agree with Steam or should the developers be given a chance to update the build?
