In the upcoming theme park building management game from Limbic Entertainment and Bandai Namco, it seems not everybody will be a happy guest looking for a fun day at your park. In fact, Park Beyond has an actual antagonist who takes on the role of your rival. With that said, meet Giles Hemlock, CEO of Hemlock Consortium, and self-proclaimed genius whose number one goal is to crush any joy and dreams under the heel of profit-making and parking complexes!
We already know from the limited first impression we got from this game that it has a lot of potential, so to see that they are adding an antagonist to a game like this is definitely interesting. While building and handling challenging parks in the expansive story mode and creating the park of our dreams, we’ll have to watch out for your rival’s aggressive methods and dirty tricks as he tries to take your business down. At least as a “visioneer,” you will have to make sure the park turns a profit by ensuring a variety of fun rides for all ages and making them easily accessible to visitors.
