Mojang looks as though they are getting in the holiday spirit this year by announcing that the 12 Days of Minecraft will start on December 21st. This means that every day, starting at midnight Dec. 21, 2017 and ending Jan. 1, 2018 at 11:59pm, players will have one free download on the Minecraft Marketplace. Everyday items will have a 24-hour limited time period before they become unavailable and the next gift is listed.
If you would like to know what item Mojang is giving for free before checking the marketplace, the company has stated that there will be updates posted up on the Minecraft Twitter. After seeing what they plan on starting with, I am sure that all of the gifted content is going to be worth it!
The first gift that you can expect on the first day of the 12 Days of Minecraft is a DLC map of a mountainous sled slalom! Get ready to race your friends down a snowy slope of the most magical winter wonderland that this pixel game titan can provide. If Mojang is going to start off with a sled race, then I am excited to see what the other eleven gifts will be!
