Welcome to the world of Monster Hunter Generations where powerful Deviant Monsters like the Grimclaw Tigrex have survived, evolved and are now meaner than ever and will provide a challenge to even the most seasoned players.
Generations will be a customizable experience that will blend the best of previous games with new areas and monsters. Notable differences are that players will be introduced to four hunting Styles and Arts as well as 14 weapon types that will allow for highly personalized playstyles. When combined, they will provide enhanced combat skills and power-ups that can be equipped to use with all kinds of weapons. Co-op online multiplayer will also be available for up to four players to go on a hunt.
For the first time you’ll be able to play as one of the Felyne characters who will even have their own questlines and rewards, unique gameplay mechanics and gear.
A demo will be available at the Nintendo 3DS eShop on June 30, although earlier access will also be provided to those who pay at least $4 for an E3 2016 Digital Ticket at Humble Bundle.
Finally, if you transfer save data from Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate you’ll receive a a baby tigrex Felyne armor and some yet undisclosed bonuses.
Monster Hunter Generations will be released on July 15, 2016.
