Multiplayer Coming to CYBERPUNK 2077!

Cyberpunk 2077 will be one of the biggest games next year, if not the biggest. The sci-fi title from studio CD Projekt Red has been dominating the news cycle recently with deep dive gameplay and the kind of content that has gamers drooling in anticipation.

So it’s exciting that the developer has announced that multiplayer will be part of the game some time after launch.

2/2 The plan for now is to deliver Cyberpunk 2077 in April, then follow up with DLCs (free!) and single player content, and — once we’re done — invite you for some multiplayer action.

Multiplayer on a game that looks amazing! That will be a departure from the studio’s formula with the Witcher series, but the futuristic Cyberpunk 2077 could tap into an audience that the Witcher games haven’t been able to. A large player base would make a case for multiplayer support. And CD Projekt Red is hiring in order to meet that goal. Looks like they are committed to making it a reality.
