According to Serebii, the koala's Japanese name is Nekkoala and it will be a Normal type with an ability that prevents all status effects minus sleep. The dog is a Rock type named Iwanko.
I swear Pokemon has so many dog type Pokemon it's getting ridiculous, but at least this one isn't a fire type! I'm a big fan of that koala though! What's your take on these new Pokemon?
