Open World Multiplayer Game PALWORLD Is Blending Unlikely Genre's

Have you ever been in the middle of your Pokemon adventure and wish there was a way that you could just simply shoot down your enemies? Or how about being a part of the villains, like Team Rocket, and want to set out to poach some rare creatures for sport and profit? Well, developers PocketPair apparently did because their latest game announcement blends together the creature-catching adventure of Pokemon with genres of sandbox crafting and third-person shooting!

Welcome to PalWorld! Here you can catch little creatures known as “Pal” and live your life according to your own moral compass. The game offers factors including survival, building, exploration, farming, dungeon exploring, breeding with hereditary factors, factory and automation, and poaching and crime. This means that you can try and survive off the land, saving as many Pals as possible without forcing them to do any labor for you. On the other hand, you could kill Pals to eat for survival, have them work in a factory setting to pump out more weapons and ammunition, and earn your riches by poaching the rare Pals in prohibited hunting areas. Of course, you could try to find yourself a healthy middle ground between these two opposing moral guides. The life you lead in this world will be up to you and the Pals you gain!

Currently, the game is set for a launch sometime in 2022 on PC via Steam. There is no word on what all platforms will be included or details regarding a story mode. If the trailer above isn’t enough to show you what this game offers, you can check out more details on this unorthodox game from the Steam page for now.
