Just when you thought you’d seen everything new from Cuphead this year given Studio MDHR dropped the Delicious Last Course add-on content, they are back to announce physical editions of the game! In order to launch these physical editions, they partnered with both iam8bit and Skybound Games. The physical edition of the game will be distributed by Skybound Games and will be made available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
However, the standard physical edition of the game will offer more than just a copy of the game. This edition will include the latest DLC add-on, six collectible Cuphead funnies cards, a Cuphead Club membership card, and beautiful interior art in the case.
As for the Collector’s Edition, this is being handled and sold exclusively by iam8bit, which will offer a bit more. While this edition will include everything the standard edition has, it will also include:
A vintage handcrafted Cuphead marionette puppet
A mechanical hand-crank music box
A unique and classy o-sleeve
A map showcasing the world of Inkwell Isles from Cuphead
Contained within a premium box showcasing the Asbestos Safety Curtain that can be transformed to display the Cuphead marionette.
Fans can also pre-order a new double 2xLP vinyl today, featuring old-timey tunes from The Delicious Last Course DLC expansion by composer Kristofer Maddigan. The vinyl includes a special foldout poster with art by Shawn Dickinson, as well as three recipe cards containing MDHR family recipes. They are also reprinting the original Cuphead vinyl for fans who missed their chance last time.
