Save The City Of Tertium With Your Friends In WARHAMMER 40,000: DARKTIDE

When you’ve been dropped into the horrors of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, what better way is there to face it than with your friends? Developed by Fatshark and set in the world created by Games Workshop, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide drops you and three other friends in the hive city of Tertium. Heretics have sabotaged the city’s power system, and you and the anti-heroes of your team are tasked with solving that problem by wreaking havoc through hordes of enemies.

Where this trailer focused on the story elements of the game, the new trailer showcases the hyper-violent, gloriously gory gameplay that can be expected from a game in the Warhammer universe. The game will launch with features that make use of NVIDIA DLSS, Ray Tracing, and Reflex, maximizing the visual fidelity of the game and making sure players get the best possible framerates.

Two pre-order options are available for the game, both coming with various bonuses. The base game is available to pre-order at $39.99 and will come with The Atoman Star Weapon Trinket, a weapon cosmetic awarded to those who answered Atoma’s call, and Vanguard of the Imperium Portrait Frame, a cosmetic portrait frame.

The Imperial Edition will cost $59.99 and comes with the two items already mentioned, as well as the Loyalist Pack, Mortis Veteran Portrait Frame, the Caducades Backpack, and 2500 Aquilas, the game’s premium currency. The Loyalist Pack will unlock 4 unique class outfits, 8 weapon skin patterns, one headgear, and an Ogryn body tattoo, while the Mortis Veteran Portrait Frame is a cosmetic portrait frame, and the Caducades Backpack is a cosmetic backpack for human characters

If you’d like to keep up on the game, you can check out the official Darktide website, or the official Discord server. You’ll be able to join your friends in Tertium when Warhammer 40,000: Darktide launches on Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam on September 13th, and pre-orders are available now on the Xbox Store, Windows Store, and Steam.
