Satoru Iwata's presence is still missed and remembered by fans of Nintendo. Just a couple weeks ago was the first NIntendo Direct since his passing, and it was kind of a weird moment. You didn't have his trademark "to you directly" or "PLEASE UNDERSTAND"...it just felt off. It's hard to measure the impact a person has in other's life, but I believe this tribute at GDC breaks it down pretty nicely.
