We've got just over a week until the world gets The Last Guardian and either says "it was worth it" or "should've been cancelled". I still don't know where I think it's gonna fall and I've watched just about every piece of game footage that's been released for the past couple years! On one hand I don't know how people will respond to a game that was considered "revolutionary" on PS3...but really is just a game now. I can definitely see some of the gameplay mechanics that made this one a game changer losing their novelty quickly if that's the only thing this game can hang it's hat on.
On the flip side, if the game was fun to begin with, people may not care. We still play remasters nonstop, so it's not like drawn out game mechanics ever really go out of style...
Maybe I'm overthinking things too much. What I do know is that the guardian in the game looks like a derp and this video really proves that more than anything...
