SOMETHING COOL: Bandai Namco's NANOBLOCK's Are 3D Anime Lego's

Cool Product Provided by Bandai Namco Toys and Collectibles

When I was younger, I used to be really into the build-it-yourself toys like LEGO’s and Bionicle. However, it would be an understatement to say that it has been a while since I had touched anything of the sort. That is until I got this cool item from the Bandai Namco Collection called a Nanoblock. The one they sent out was of Son Goku from DragonBall Z charging up a fresh Kamehameha wave!

Of course, it was a little daunting when I opened up the box and saw that the instructions were in a form of grouping with a list of all blocks included for the build. But grabbing the nice rubber mat they sent with it for me to put my Nanoblock base on and the strong tweezers for sorting, selecting, and mainly taking the wrong piece back off of the one I placed it on, I got started on the build.

Only about two and half hours later, this rookie builder managed to follow the instructions and get a neat little Son Goku statue built! Placing him on the rubber mat, he was ready to go with the rest of my collection as well.

While the style of the instructions seemed like it wasn’t descriptive enough at first, it actually was exactly what you would want when trying to build these things. Taking it chunk by chunk, I was able to look at what pieces were used to build the chunk, pull them together, and place them how they were meant to be placed. I even knew what I was doing when I would come back from short breaks I took during the build process.

All-in-all, this is likely going to be the first of a series of Nanoblocks in my collection because not only is it an actually awesome collectible, but it also has a sense of pride to it since I know that I actually put time into building it. Definitely not an activity I have done in a while, but this item is definitely a great reason to get back into the build-it-yourself hobby!
