Steam Will Add Native Xbox Controller Functionality To All Games On System

Your Xbox controller, whether it be 360 or One will soon run natively with any game on the Steam client. Polygon reports the new feature appeared in Steam's latest beta build and that players will be able to configure their controllers via the controller configuration system.

No word yet on when this will be possible with PlayStation 4 controllers, as the functionality to use the controller on the client is still relatively new, but Steam did recently update the feature to play 3rd party controllers from PS4.

It's sad to say since I've been a console hound for years, but I actually prefer a mouse and keyboard now! I used to think the people who played FPS games on PC were just blowing smoke when they said PC handles better than controller, but man they were right! What games do you see yourself playing on controller with your PC that are on Steam?
