The ADF-11F Raven Is Now Available In The ACE COMBAT 7 Season Pass And It Is A Blast To Play!
Ace Combat 7 has been out for 5 months now and has been a gaming experience I have needed for a long time! A season pass also launched alongside Ace Combat 7 that promised to extend the fun with new playable missions and craft. Today the first of these new playable craft is finally available in the form of the ADF-11F Raven! The Raven is a very interesting craft with very balanced specs, that can of course be modified with in game parts, and fun weaponry! While the tactical laser system and quick air to air missiles are available on other craft, they are still fun to deploy on a new frame to see what they are capable of.
The weapon that makes the Raven so interesting however is the UAV launching! Yes The Raven can deploy UAV’s to hunt down your currently locked on target. The strategies the UAV opens up are going to be quite interesting but from my brief hands on with them in campaign this morning I could already see the value while hunting for S ranks. Launch a pair of UAV’s at secondary targets while pursuing the primary targets and rack up 3 kills in the time it takes to get 1!
Unfortunately not everything is cool with the Raven as it is missing a cockpit viewpoint replaced intead with a first person mode that has a blue tint applied to it. I was really hoping to see the inside of the futuristic craft and imagined it to look close to that of the Falken from Ace Combat 5 and soon to be released for Ace Combat 7. I am still hoping that maybe the view is just experiencing launch day bugs and will be corrected soon however. There are also no new missions included with this craft release so fans hoping for new stories will have to wait just a bit longer.
Along with the Raven, a new Mobius 1 F-22 Raptor skin and 8 new emblems have been released to allow for more customization options! To celebrate the new DLC Bandai Namco also released a new trailer check it out below!
