Yesterday’s DC FanDome reveals were particularly epic. Not only did we get to see a bit more of Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but we also got to see a lot more of what WB Games Montréal’s Gotham Knights is bringing to the table as well in 2022.
Last year, we got an in-depth look at some of the gameplay that featured an old face, Mr. Freeze. This trailer gives us yet another familiar old face in The Penguin but highlights what seems to be the game’s main antagonistic force, The Court of Owls.
The varying underground locals and differing types of enemies really show just how much inspiration that the devs have drawn from the comics as well as how they’re tying in their own new ideas. It’s definitely going to be a wild ride, to say the least.
Gotham Knights is set to release in 2022 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
