The Hunter Gameplay Trailer Has Dropped For HOOD: OUTLAWS AND LEGENDS

After last week’s Ranger gameplay trailer for Hood: Outlaws & Legends, Focus Home Entertainment decided that it was high-time for another character class to venture into the limelight. The Hunter class is here for the players that like to get up close and personal while still playing the shadows. Andrew Willans, the game’s director, returns to give us insight on the Hunter’s playstyle, weapons, and abilities in her own gameplay trailer. It’s another fantastic look at a unique class that I can’t wait to try out.

The Hunter’s expertise lays in quick takedowns, invisibility magic, and smoke bombs to take control of the game. As an assassin of sorts, her weapon of choice is an arm-modified crossbow that burst-fires up to 3 bolts for medium and close-range shots. Her shadow ability grants her close-up attacks on enemies that other classes don’t have. Using her shroud, she disappears in the blink of an eye like the Predator to sneak around and stalk out her prey. Her smoke bombs are the ideal tool to use when times are dire. Utilizing them to cover your entrance or your escape can make or break your heist.

There are additional abilities to unlock and upgrades to equip that further her skills even more for battle. Hood’s gameplay trailers are a really great way to introduce gamers to each class so that by the time the game comes out, maybe we’ll already have our minds made up of who’s doing what job on launch day. I’m hoping to see another gameplay trailer next week since this is starting to look like the trend.

Hood: Outlaws & Legends releases on May 10th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC
