In a Tweet that went out last night Capcom has shared that Resident Evil 2 has shipped 4 million copies worldwide! Ever since its release last month Resident Evil 2 has been off to a great start with player numbers destroying those of Resident Evil 7. The last we heard anything official on the sales front was when the game had crossed the 3 million shipped mark a week after release. So far Resident Evil 2 has been an great performer for Capcom and an excellent example on how to properly modernize a cult classic.
