It was recently announced that GUST Studios is working on a game for the anime and manga, Fairy Tail. Working with both Koei Tecmo, one of the leading anime game publishers out there today, and the creator of the series himself, Hiro Mashima, there is no reason that we won’t get the experience we have been waiting for. In fact, they are promising a faithful recreation for the Fairy Tail world and its unusual inhabitants; including everything from magic to its iconic characters.
While the trailer shown off for the game doesn’t give us much information, it is pretty easy to imagine what we can expect - especially since there are short descriptions sparsely placed on the website. What I am most looking forward to is seeing what fan-favorite episodes they are planning to include. Of course, we will get to experience the actual adventures of Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia through the main storyline progress, but I hope to see some side quests that portray a few “filler” episodes that showed the personalities and bonds between the eccentric characters.
There is no specific date listed, but we will be seeing Fairy Tail sometime in 2020 on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. So, get ready to get your wizard powers set up for some powerful magic battles, that will include Mode Change options. The land of Fiore awaits the start of your journey!
