The intriguing puzzle game from Annapurna Interactive that has players stuck in a time loop until they can find their way to break the cycle is set to release this Thursday, August 19th. This game is simply called Twelve Minutes and it will be available on PC via Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S through the Xbox Game Pass.
Through the game, you will be reliving the same twelve minutes that take place during the man’s romantic evening with his wife as it is interrupted by a violent home invasion. Players find themselves trapped in a real-time twelve-minute time loop, doomed to relive the same terror again and again - unless they can find ways to use the knowledge of what’s coming to change the outcome and break the loop.
Not only that, but they have a starring cast including James McAvoy (“the man”), Daisy Ridley (“the woman”), and Willem Dafoe (“the intruder”). I’m honestly impressed with their casting, but the game’s concept alone has caught my interest, so I definitely look forward to diving into this mystery puzzle this weekend.
