Bringing us their next story-driven title on December 1st, DONTNOD Entertainment and Shibuya Productions have now opened pre-orders for Twin Mirror on all platforms! Although it is set to launch on PC via Epic Games Store, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, they originally only offered PC pre-orders, but now console players can claim their copy as well. Those who do choose to pre-order will get a dynamic theme inspired by the game’s main character Sam Higgs’ Mind Palace.

Many fans of DONTNOD have been looking forward to their next title and the hype has been building since they released a teaser back at the PC Game Show. The only downside that some have seen is the one-year exclusivity to be on the Epic Games Store page, but personally, I don’t think we should restrict ourselves to rely on Steam as it is. But, in more good news for PlayStation players, the game will be compatible with the PlayStation 5 so you can play it on there once it launches.

If you aren’t fully aware of what Twin Mirror is going to be about, then I recommend checking out the previously released teaser. In this game, you take on the role of a former investigative journalist, Sam Higgs, who has developed multiple analytical skills represented in the game by the Mind Palace, a place where players will discover multiple aspects of his personality. After coming back to Basswood, his childhood town, for his best friend’s funeral, it quickly becomes obvious that this little West Virginian city holds numerous dark secrets. It will be up to you to uncover the mysteries surrounding the city and its inhabitants. Confronted with his past, Sam will be torn between his quest for truth and his desire to reconnect with loved ones. Who can he really trust?
