CD PROJEKT RED invites gamers, cosplayers, and entertainment industry enthusiasts worldwide to take part in the official Cyberpunk 2077 Cosplay Contest. The contest tasks participants with creating the most authentic cosplay of an existing Cyberpunk 2077 character. Competitors can use any CD PROJEKT RED-released trailers, gameplay videos, screenshots and art for the game as reference, or turn to the studio’s official Cyberpunk 2077 character guides, which will be made available soon.
There will be two different ways to enter the contest: Online and Offline. If you wish to participate online, then simply go to the official website and submit your entry. If you would like to take part offline, then you will need to plan to go to one of these next main gaming shows from around the world:
gamescom (Cologne, Germany), Aug. 21-24
PAX West (Seattle, USA), Aug. 30-Sep. 2
Tokyo Game Show (Tokyo, Japan), Sep. 12-15
Igromir (Moscow, Russia), Oct. 3-6
Paris Games Week (Paris, France), Oct. 30-Nov. 3
As far as the prize and winners situation goes, they will be taking 5 winners from the online contest and 5 winners from the offline contest. If chosen, you will meet in a grand finale set to take place live and on stage. There you’ll compete for the hefty share of a $40,000 prize pool and a chance to appear on the cover of a premier entertainment industry magazine, among other prizes. The exact date and location of the event will be revealed early next year.
