BOUNTY BATTLE Will Be The Indie Gamers Version Of Super Smash Bros.

Fighting in an all-out brawl with up to 4 players is a gameplay mode we have all enjoyed since the original Super Smash Bros on the Nintendo 64. As that series continued to grow, we saw a few other variations of this game mode pop-up, but for the first time, we have an all indie game version coming! Bounty Battle is being developed by Dark Screen Games and published by Merge Games but doesn’t have a release date just yet. At least we know we can plan to see it on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2020.

There was an original launch date planned for this game to happen this month, but they are delaying the game to an unknown release date. In light of this, they have given us a new trailer that features a few of the characters we can expect to see on their roster! The trailer shows off characters from popular indie titles, such as Dead Cells, Darkest Dungeon, Owlboy, and Guacamelee! but there are going to be many more. In fact, there is going to be a total of 30 characters from 20 different indie games on the final roster.

With each fighter coming with their own Minion companion and unique fighting style, who are you hoping to fight as? Check out the roster trailer below and get excited for a, hopefully soon, release date to be announced:
