505 Games has released a new teaser trailer today for the upcoming PC release of Kojima Production’s Death Stranding. Although short, the teaser does outline a number of added features the game will have over the PS4 version including higher framerates and support for ultrawide monitors. As an added note for ultrawide, it looks like it will be true 21:9 and not just a pillar boxed 16:9 presentation some games have tried to pass off as ultrawide, very nice. A new photo mode is also being added which should allow for some pretty unique screenshots. Though, the most surprising reveal for the PC version of Death Stranding comes from a special crossover with the Half-Life franchise! at the very end of the trailer, Sam can be seen sporting a head crab from Valve’s phenomenal series.
Death Stranding for PC is slated for a June 2, 2020 release date and will have a base price of $59.99. A number of pre-order goodies are also up for grabs including:
