Hard to imagine that there was once a time when vehicular combat games had a thriving genre. Games like Twisted Metal and Vigilante 8 were among some of the most fun things to play. But the genre seemed to die out with the passing of time.
During today’s PS5 games event a new game was revealed that looks set to fill the void, Destruction Allstars! This new first-party exclusive is a vehicular combat title where players will go vehicle to vehicle to see who comes out on top. Cars have special abilities that can help in the destruction of others. Arenas themselves also present their own dangers that players can use to their advantage or fall victim too.
If your vehicle gets destroyed no fear, you can still roam about the arena on foot to cause mayhem! No date has been set for the release of Destruction Allstars but I look forward to seeing more! Check it out above.
