FINAL FANTASY X/X-2 And FINAL FANTASY XII Receive Release Date For Xbox One And Switch

For everyone waiting to experience more Final Fantasy games on their platform of choice your time has come! Square Enix has revealed the release dates of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD and Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age for Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD will make its way to non Sony consoles for the first time on April 16 with Final Fantasy XII coming out April 30. Both games offer significant visual improvements over their original PS2 incarnations. New soundtracks have also been included in both games as well as features originally only found in the International versions of the games that never made it stateside until the original PS3/PS4 release of the games.

The Switch version of each game will also offer the ability to be played in portable mode for anyone looking to take Final Fantasy on the go! Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD and Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age were announced to be coming to the Nintendo Switch last year during a Nintendo Direct with Microsoft confirming the titles would also make their way to the Xbox One shortly after. Also announced were ports of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy IX but release dates for these PS1 classics have yet to be revealed.
