First Dev Diary For REMOTHERED: BROKEN PORCELAIN Discusses Gameplay And Inspiration

It’s always good to know the back story behind the development of great works of media. Dev Diary videos are the outlet that game developers use to spread this knowledge on their games and I was pretty happy to see Modus Games share a first dev diary video from Stormind Games on their second title in their horror series, Remothered: Broken Porcelain.

After playing the first title, Remothered: Tormented Fathers, and enjoying it enough to consider it as a Top Indie Game of 2018, I have been waiting for the next chapter in the series to come out. The original announcement back in April 2019 is what first had me excited as it showed a whole new environment for the horror experience to take place. Now, according to their Steam page, we only have to wait for the Summer of 2020!

This dev diary shows off some gameplay we haven’t seen yet and dives into the reasons they designed it to be what it is, along with the platform list to include PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. I was intrigued to hear that it was a full book trilogy before a game though as I would have thought the book trilogy would be something made afterward or perhaps during development, but that makes for good source material for the development team. Check out the first of many dev diary’s yourself and let the hype begin as we get closer to a release date trailer:
