February’s Games With Gold have just been revealed and it looks like it will be a fun month! To start us off over on Xbox One beginning February 1 and lasting all month is Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon. This prequel to the anticipated Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is an 8-bit style adventure game that calls back to the classic NES Castlevania games. For the second half of the month until mid March Gold subscribers will be treated to Super Bomberman R. This take on the Bomberman franchise had entertaining multiplayer to me back when it first launched as a Nintendo Switch Exclusive so it will be interesting to finally play it on a different system!

Over on Xbox 360 the moth starts off with Assassin’s Creed Rogue, a sister story to the languished Assassin’s Creed Unity that was only released on last gen consoles at the time. The second half of the month brings a surprise treat for 360/One owners in the form of an original Xbox title! Starting February 16 Gold subscribers will have access to Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. This was the last entry in the beloved Jedi Knight franchise and saw the main character shift away from the main protagonist, Kyle Katarn, over to a user generated Jedi trainee under the supervision of Katarn. The game was well received back in the day and might still feature some of the best lightsaber duels in any Star Wars game!
