Over the last few months to help get people excited for the release of Crackdown 3, Microsoft has been giving away the first game in the franchise. Now it seems the promotion has finally been extended to the more unpopular second installment in the franchise, Crackdown 2. Crackdown 2 has just been newly added to the Xbox One Backwards compatibility program so even more players can get access to the free game if they so choose! Crackdown 2 did expand upon the gameplay of the original but its zombie-esque story wasn’t as well received as the original.
