GHOST OF TSUSHIMA Has Been Delayed A Month

Ok, Ghost of Tsushima hasn’t been delayed a full month but rather 3 weeks from June 26 to its new release date of July 17. The cause of this delay unsurprisingly comes from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic griping the world. The delay also comes at the benefit of The Last of Us II giving the game some time out on its own before another heavy-hitting Sony first-party title releases.

I want to personally congratulate and thank both the teams at Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch Productions on their achievements, as we know it’s not an easy feat to reach the finish line under these circumstances. Both teams have worked hard to deliver world-class experiences, and we can’t wait to see what you think of them when they release in just a few short months.
— Hermen Hulst, Sony Interactive Entertainment Head of Worldwide Studios

Ghost of Tsushima will be one of the last major PS4 releases before the release of the upcoming PS5. The game is being developed by Infamous developer Sucker Punch and will transport players back into Feudal Japan. The game has looked sick ever since it was announced and a few extra weeks to make it better is not a bad thing in my book. I look forward to trying this one out in July, what about you?
