Some games immediately capture your attention. Whether it’s the immersive gameplay or the striking visuals, a game manages to pull you in and you can’t escape.

I’m hoping that’s the case with the high-contrast, monochromatic aesthetic of OVIVO. It’s been received well by players on Steam. It’s a platformer from developer IzHard and the physical edition for PS4 is from Sometimes You.

The game boasts some unique mechanics that will intrigue adventurous players. If the trailer is any indication, things will get pretty trippy. It looks like a psychedelic journey through dozens of optical illusions, but, if we’re lucky, there will be an intriguing narrative along the way. Even if it’s just something metaphorical. Ah, well. We’ll see.

And if you want a cool-looking physical copy of the game, you’ll need to pre-order OVIVO here because it’s a limited physical release. There are only going to be 999 copies. The standard edition includes a cardboard sleeve box and an exclusive 24-page booklet.
