Under $100

HyperX Cloud Stinger - $50

The HyperX Cloud Stinger (affiliate link) is a great entry headset for gamers. Sporting decent sound quality and comfortable design there is little not love in this low-cost audio option. utilizing a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack also ensures compatibility with a multitude of devices.

Astro A10 - $45-$60

The Astro A10’s are a great headset for gamers who might not take the greatest care of their stuff. The A10’s are more durable than most entry-level gaming headsets which ensure you won’t need to be replacing them every three months. Sound quality isn’t the best you can get from a pair of Astros but considering the price, you get a nice experience. The A10’s also come in a wide variety of colors and styles including black/green (affiliate link), white/blue (Affiliate link) and black/red (affiliate link). There is even a Zelda (affiliate link) version and it looks sweet! The Astro A10’s are compatible with any device that sports a 3.5 mm headphone jack so compatibility shouldn’t be any concern.

LucidSound LS10X/LS10P - $59.99

The LucidSound brand has made a name for itself by delivering great audio quality and comfort at any price point. The LS10 line-up of headsets are hands down my favorite headset in the sub $100 category! Unlike most other headsets in this category, the LS10’s come with leatherette headset cups rather than cloth which helps cancel out outside noise and it just feels so nice. The LS10 comes in both an Xbox (affiliate link) and PlayStation variation to deliver an optimized experience per platform. Both headsets also work on PC, Switch, and mobile devices, that still have headphone jacks, for even more usability!

$100-$250

Astro A40 TR - $150-$250

The Astro A40’s are marketed towards esports players and content creators looking to get the best experience out of their equipment. Interestingly though, the A40’s aren’t the most impressive sounding headset on their own. When combined with Astro’s mixamp (affiliate link) however, the A40’s really sing and deliver some of my favorite gaming audio to date! unfortunately, the Mixamp adds another $100 dollars onto the already higher price. Trust me, it’s worth it! The A40’s can also be customized (affiliate link) by users to fit their tastes and come in an Xbox (affiliate link) and PlayStation (affiliate link) version.

Logitech G Pro X - $129.99

The Logitech G Pro X (affiliate Link) headset has no right to be as good as it is at its price. All audio has been tuned to deliver a first-rate experience in competitive games so if you are looking to get an advantage in your next online session strap on the Pro X and school your friends like they never have been schooled before!

SteelSeries Arctis 9X - $199.99

The Arctis 9X (affiliate link) is an interesting headset and the first of our list to be wireless. Featuring built-in connectivity for Xbox One’s wireless communication, the Arctis 9 can also be used as a Bluetooth headset making it work with mobile phones, PC, and even the PS4. Battery life lasts up to a fantastic 20 hours. The headset can also be used with a wire by connecting it to any available 3.5 mm headphone jack for more compatibility.

The Astro A50’s utilize a docking station to connect to consoles, or PC, through a combination of USB and optical TOS link.
